Grandma's Christmas letter 2009

"Dear Family,

Merry Christmas to all of you. I love you all very much. We are so very blessed as a family.

At this wonderful time of year I hope that we will all remember our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May we feel his love in our hearts and reach out to those around us. He made it possible for all of us to overcome every promlem that might come to us in this life. That little babe that was born thousands of years ago has shown us his love through His great Plan of Happiness. His love can cure all the problems that we see in the world today.

Love,
Grandma Lofgreen"

I am grateful for such an amazing Grandma (and Grandpa) who gave me an amazing family. I feel so blessed to hear her testimoney that always strengthens mine.

Mona's Story - Birth

Mona LaRee Millett was born on May 14, 1919, the second child and first daughter of Artemas T Millett and Hazel Cassa Pomeroy Millett. (That is the correct spelling of her parents' names, there is not a period after the initial T and Hazel's middle name is only "Cassa".) Her older brother's name is Max and her younger brother's name is Keith. At the time Mona was born there was a flue epidemic.

Who wants to write the story behind this one?

Welcome!

Welcome to our blog!

I've had this idea for over a year and decided it was about time I made it happen. There are programs that turn blogs into bound books and I thought it'd be great to put all the silly stories and histories that pop up on the family website into a book! I'll make each of you 11 kids an author so write away! The rest of us can comment under each post.
